A genius autoharp player with a style all his own; love it! I'm so glad to see he's still playing; I'd love to see him live again. He's one of a kind....... :-)

Nov. 10, 2023 .... In the beginning of the video, the gentleman speaking on the right is attorney Glenn Opie, Great Bend native and high school classmate of Jack Kilby. Glenn is the man who created the Kilby Memorial Committee and is responsible for the existence of the Kilby Memorial on the courthouse square in Great Bend. I was a friend of Glenn Opie for more than 40 years and he kindly invited me to attend the dedication. Glenn Opie was also the executive director of the 3-time American Legion National Champion Argonne Rebels Drum & Bugle Corps of Great Bend. Glenn was one of the founding members of Drum Corps International and is remembered in the DCI Hall Of Fame. You can find videos of the Argonne Rebels elsewhere on RUclips. God bless the memory of Glenn Opie. He is greatly missed by all of us.
